As 2025 has come to an end, we at Skillsly look back on a year in which the platform continued to grow in both usage and scale. Together with schools, training providers and organizations, Skillsly has been used intensively to better support learning, communication, submission, assessment and testing.
The past year was marked by increasing adoption, deeper integration into processes and a strong focus on supporting the daily practice of education professionals and learners. At the same time, we worked purposefully on technical innovation, with reliability, flexibility and long-term sustainability as key priorities.
Below, we reflect on what we achieved together in 2025 and look ahead to 2026.
Our year in numbers
Use of questionnaires and communication
In 2025, Skillsly was used extensively for feedback, evaluation and communication. A total of 397.787 questionnaires were completed, a significant increase compared to 282.226 in 2024. These questionnaires were filled in by 63.704 unique users, showing that the platform is increasingly being used on a structural basis.
Skillsly also remained an important communication channel through contact messages. In total, 151.489 contact messages were sent by 28.685 unique users. This confirms Skillsly’s role as a central, accessible place for communication between all stakeholders.
E-learning and assessment
In the area of learning and assessment, 2025 showed broad and intensive use. A total of 43.259 e-learning modules (SCORM packages) were completed, representing 2.859 days of learning time.

In addition, 244.44 practical assessments and 112.575 proficiency tests were scheduled via Remindo. This underlines the role of Skillsly as a connecting link between learning, assessment and examination.
Through the Article module, 314.421 assignments were completed, using 467.832 assessment forms. This highlights how Skillsly supports the entire submission and assessment process in a structured way.
Plagiarism checks and file usage
Quality assurance remained an important focus in 2025. A total of 244.273 files were analyzed using the plagiarism check.
File storage usage continued to grow as well. In total, 1.376.667 files were uploaded, including 503,384 PDF documents, 444.520 images and 9,819 videos. The total storage volume reached 2,921 GB.

Usage and activity
User engagement is clearly reflected in daily platform activity. In 2025, users logged in 1.490.166 times. Together, they were active in Skillsly for 90,646 days. In addition, 1.922.026 emails and notifications were sent, keeping users continuously informed about actions and progress.
New features in 2025
In 2025, we did not only focus on scaling, but especially on reliability and future readiness. An important step was the introduction of version control within the exam module. This makes it possible to track changes more effectively and manage exams in a controlled way.
We also started developing our new API. This lays the foundation for improved integrations and greater flexibility, allowing Skillsly to connect even more easily with other systems in the education and training landscape in the future.
Plans for 2026
In 2026, we will place a strong emphasis on supporting learning-based qualification. Our goal is to help organizations better connect learning, assessment and qualification within one coherent process.
We will also continue to invest in our submission and assessment application. This solution will be further developed with a focus on ease of use, clarity and didactic support, enabling assessors and learners to be optimally supported in their daily work.
